Activities
We’re inviting you to take part in something a little different.
We’re running a Putney Action Day packed with energy, creativity, and proper campaigning – and we want you to be part of it.
We’ve designed three fun and effective activities to choose from, and we'll provide briefings for each. If you're able to stay all day, pick a different one in the afternoon!
🗳️ 1. Doorstep Canvassing & Leaflets
Walk a route, knock on doors, and help deliver our message. You’ll be using MiniVAN to collect data and sharing our new 3-Point Plan. It’s a classic for a reason – and we’ll match you with a buddy if you’re new.
🏬 2. High Street Vision Stall
Marks & Spencer is coming back to Putney! We’ll be on the High Street using this buzz to get people involved – with giant posters and stickers to ask “What should go here next?” It’s creative, eye-catching, and community-powered.
🌉 3. Hammersmith Bridge Conversations
Dress up in one of three outfits (yes, really!) and spark fun conversations about where a future bridge could go. It’s part theatre, part strategy – and a great way to connect with people on an issue that really matters.

Food
🍲 Stay for Lunch – Home-cooked & full of heart
We know that campaigning is hungry work – and there’s nothing like a good meal to keep the energy up.
At lunchtime, we’ll be serving freshly cooked food made by Sapna – Kieren’s wife – who’s kindly volunteered to keep our team well-fed with something warm, hearty, and homemade. Expect something tasty, vegetarian-friendly, and made with care.
Because let’s face it:
“People who love to eat are always the best people.” – Julia Child
Come for the leaflets – stay for the lunch!

Social media
📸 Capture the Moment – Let’s show we’re here!
Throughout the day, we’d love you to snap some photos of yourselves in action – especially with members of the public (with their permission, of course).
Whether you’re out delivering leaflets, chatting on the High Street, or having a laugh in a bridge costume – every picture tells the story of a team that’s active, present, and positive.
Share smiling faces, conversations, moments of joy – and help show the people of Putney that we’re here, listening, and making a difference.
We’ll be posting throughout the day on social media, so if you get a great shot, send it to us or tag us when you share.

Energy. Presence. People. Let’s make it visible. 👀💛
