It was very well attended and the atmosphere was very positive as we are prepare for both the GLA London Assembly election and a General Election in 2024.
Reports were received from the 3 Wandsworth constituencies of Putney and Battersea and Tooting.
We were very pleased to introduce our newly elected Parliamentary Prospective candidates Francis Chubb (Battersea) and Kieren McCarthy (Putney). Both Francis and Kieren set out their plans for the forthcoming year.
We were pleased to introduce Sue Wixley who is the Lib Dems GLA candidate representing Merton and Wandsworth.
We were also pleased to welcome Paul Kohler who we will also be supporting in Wimbledon to be elected as the next MP for Wimbledon.
We were delighted to welcome Caroline Pidgeon who talked about her 15 years of experience on the London Assembly, where she first won her place in 2008. She is a strong advocate and has campaigned constantly with great success on issues such as strong policing and improved public transport.
