Ofsted Raise Serious Concerns Over Wandsworth Council

21 Oct 2018

The Council's children's services were judged to be in need of improvement in an Ofsted report in the summer.

This is the second lowest Ofsted rating and follows a 2015 inspection which reported that the services for vulnerable children in the borough were "inadequate".

The first duty of the local council is to care for those in need and this report shows that the Council is still letting down vulnerable local kids who have nowhere else to turn for help and protection.

Conservative councillors boast about 'top quality services' they deliver on the cheap. This poor rating shows the shameful way that children in need across Wandsworth are paying the price.

Full details of the inspector's report are available on Ofsted's website via this link.
